Lilya will need to know the location of your party, the occasion, the approximate number of people attending, whether she should bring her own sound system, what prop is preferred (sword, cane, tray of candles, fan veil) and whether there are any music or costume requests. In addition, a deposit (usually equal to half the total fee) is required to reserve the date/time for your function.

What happens when Lilya arrives? Upon arrival at a venue, Lilya will meet with her contact, discuss any final logistics about the performance, instruct him or her on how to set up Lilya's iPod player, and give him or her any props that need to be set out by the dance area. Lilya will need a secure place to remove her cover up and adjust her costume, as well as a spot to leave her things while performing.

How do I show my appreciation for Lilya's dancing? Tipping is always an appropriate way to show your appreciation for Lilya's performance. Tips can be tucked into her costume (Lilya will direct you) or showered over her head. In these tough economic times you can also show your appreciation by zaghareeting (a high-pitched ululation) or hissing during the show.

Can Lilya do more than one show? Can she bring more than one dancer? Additional shows with a costume change are $100 for each 10-15 minute set. Lilya is happy to provide multiple dancers and/or musicians if given sufficient lead time.
